  • 1 cup melted chocolate
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped toasted walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the melted chocolate and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Stir in the butter until melted and smooth.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add in the flour and salt, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the toasted walnuts.
  7. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or drizzled with caramel for an extra treat.
