  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened unsalted butter, packed brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
  5. Blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture until well combined.
  6. Stir in the white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space between each scoop.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown, keeping the centers soft.
  9. Let the cookies cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
