Crispy and golden-brown zucchini fries that are a guilt-free alternative to traditional fries, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Slice the zucchinis into sticks, about 3-4 inches long.
  3. Mix together breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Whisk the egg and water in another bowl until combined.
  5. Dip each zucchini stick into the egg mixture, then roll it in the breadcrumb mixture until coated.
  6. Arrange the coated zucchini fries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper in a single layer.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
