A simple and delicious Cream Cheese Chicken Skillet that combines tender chicken with creamy cheese and healthy spinach, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add spinach and cook until wilted.
  6. Lower the heat and add cream cheese and chicken broth to the skillet, stirring until smooth.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it with the cream cheese mixture.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the spinach. Customize by swapping chicken for turkey or tofu.
